![]() I plan on adding a PCIe 4.0 SSD later this year. But depending on how critical having x8 lanes is (after you guys share your advice), I'll try to wait a few months and snag an H series.Īs a bonus, could someone explain how and where the DMI x4 connectivity of a B series motherboard might be a limiting factor/cause stutter or be a chokepoint? Will that be mitigated by the new 12th gen B660 series with their DMI 4.0 (vs the DMI 3.0, which Intel has used since Ivy Bridge), OR do you need more lanes, so an H570 or Z570 with their x8 lanes? Thank you sooo much □įor the new build, I will be using a GTX 1060, a PCIe 3.0 1 TB M2 SSD, an M2 Wifi module, a SATA 500 GB SSD, a 2 TB SATA HDD and a Logitech G29 plugged in along with the usual kb/mouse. Even the cheapest Z series costs more than the most expensive B series. Sadly H570,H670 motherboards aren't available in my country (Sri Lanka) at the moment and they are very rare as most stores only sell Z series and B series. The worse part was contacting AOMEI Service and get an answer that amounted to "Yes, that can happen, and no we won't even look into it." When I complained that this could happen to anyone at any time, and that people were depending on this product to keep their data safe they stuck with the attitude of "Sorry for your luck." They didn't even open a software development ticket to look into the issue.I could afford to sell off my 11400 and buy a 12400f (the jump in performance alone seems worth it, plus having 2 PCIe 4.0 M2 slots vs 1 slot) + a B660 motherboard (probably the Aorus Pro AX, worried about possible VRM issues since many 11th gen B series motherboards are bad). Backups were corrupted without the possibility to recover, and without any warning until I went to restore from a backup. It has a number of features allowing various types of backups. However, it has a mind of its own and won't allow me to shut it down or remove it as it continues to run in the background.Įasy to set up and use. All this seems to be due to the fact that it doesn't agree with System Mechanic as the timing of the introduction of System Mechanic seems to match the issues I have received. ![]() Recently it has been responsible for freezing programs, slowing down programs and even clipping video and audio on Zoom. I installed System Mechanic Ultimate Defense about 10 days ago and now having nothing but issues with Aomei Backupper Pro. I had been running their latest addition for about a month. ultimately the software killed my system but did manage to recover from an existing backup.Ĭomments: Until recently I was very happy. I really don't like the naming convention of the backups. as a service causes BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) I successfully recovered from an existing image created by AOMEI I have moved on and purchased Acronis True Image. I'm no longer interested in your product. I have already uninstalled AOMEI backuper, you may of course deactivate my activate key on my refund request. It doesn’t need to happen immediately, but I did see that you offered some resolution for refunds and I would like to pursue that path. I have not had a good experience with your software and would appreciate a refund of my $49.95. I’m officially throwing in the towel on AOMEI backuper. However, ultimately I cannot ignore that AOMEI was the reason for the BSoD and the need to restore from a backup. I had to do a fresh install of Windows install AOMEI and restore from a good backup from Thursday. This morning, my system was in BSoD but this time it was in an endless recovery -> failed reboot. I also reduced the frequency of the scheduled backup to once per week on Sundays. 2> I'm no longer getting the BSOD but the backups are failing with 4140 error codes both scheduled and manual => removed all directories and let AOMIE Backuper create re-create them. Is it possible to revoke my license and refund my money? => reinstalled special version they compiled and made available on Google Drive. 1> I purchased AOMEI last week but thus far it has not been a pleasant experience.
